The questions we get asked the most

How long does it take?

Typically in the range of 2 to 4 hours depending on the condition of the door. If there are multiple coats of varnish and stain over the life of the door it will take longer to strip the door.

When can I use my door?

Right away, however the door typically takes 2 to 3 weeks to fully cure so just be gentle and you'll be fine.

How long will I be without a door?

We put up a plastic barrier in place of your door to seal your house from the outside. The whole process takes about 3-4 hours and is done on-site. Right after the process your door is useable.

Use and Care

Follow the guidelines below to keep from voiding your warranty

Cleaning

Mild soap and warm water is all that's needed to clean your new door. Avoid harsh cleaners especially ones with strong chemicals or abrasives.

Furniture Products are a no-no

Please do not use any furniture care products on your door like Pledge, Endust or any such thing. Your door shouldn't need wax or any treatment beyond regular cleaning.

Mechanical Hazards

Avoid allowing sprinklers or pressure washers to make contact, treat your door with care and you should get pleasant results regarding longevity.
